Micromax, the indigenous phonemaker promised to launch 30 new phones this year and looks like they will live up to that promise. And the latest to join the slew is Micromax Ninja A91 which debuted on an e-commerce portal.
Micromax Ninja A91 is based on Google’s open-source Android platform. As the tradition in Micormax says, this phone also come with Android ICS or Ice Cream Sandwich and not the latest Android version, Android Jelly Bean. The screen is 4.5-inch TFT display.
Micromax Ninja A91 runs a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor under the hood coupled with miserly 512 MB RAM. However, keeping the fact that it’s a budget phone in mind, we don’t really see much cause for complaint. Also, looking at the competition, there are barely any phones to have crossed the 512 MB mark in the budget phone category.
The internal storage is 4GB and as goes with most phones, can be expanded up to 32 GB via MicroSD card. The phone also has a 5 MP rear end snapper with a basic VGA front camera for front-calling. The phone comes with standard features like WI-Fi, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, etc.
Micromax Ninja A91 is a dual-SIM phone which can run both SIM cards simultaneously. The phone comes with a 1800 mAh powered battery, quite a power as the phone is a budget phone and with a low RAM might boast of some good lasting power. The phone is available in just one colour: Black.
The phone is available online at a price of Rs 8499 and is available for instant home delivery. Though Micromax has not launched the officially, the rumors are instead of launching the phone with a bang, they will bring the phone directly to customers via e-commerce sites.
