As we all know that wearable technology is becoming quite a mega-trend in the world. So for this trend's sake or to follow this trend, UK-based wireless company CSR (Cambridge Silicon Radio) has launched a new line of Bluetooth Smart Jewellery at CES 2014 in Las Vegas today.
The jewellery contains a Bluetooth Smart-connected LED's which can be customised to display different colours, when your smartphone receives any kind of notification.
The company, in a pre-CES show in London, also demonstrated a companion app, for Android phones, which can be used to set the colours according to users mood or outfit. For example, a blue light indicates an incoming text message while a green light indicates an incoming email.
The jewellery has a CSR's Bluetooth Smart Chip. The chip is also known as the CSR1012. The chip is so designed that it is compatible with wearable technology. The chip takes power from a small lithium battery of power 220mAh.
The jewellery will not be available to people of all classes, as the price of this new tech is kept a bit high. But it is possible in the future that this new wearable technology will progress to a point where it will be in range of the people of even the lower classes....
