ANDROID'S SECURITY FLAW, NOW FULLY REVEALED

The biggest Internet corporation working in the face of the world GOOGLE has been hit by a big blow coming from it's own creation, ANDROID OS. A thunderous news has come out that Andorid OS has a big Security Flaw, which will become a freaking nightmare for the users. This problem can allow attackers to gain access to user's personal information without their permission.

This flaw was discovered by three research assistants at Ulm University in the southern part of Germany, which affects approximately 97% of Android users. They found that the phones using almost every Android versions would be vulnerable of an attack when connected to an unsecured Wi-Fi network. Anyone else on that network would be able to gain access to, modify or delete Android user's calendars, photos contacts and other stuffs.

A spokesman for Google said that the company is aware of this issue, and a fix is already in place for the calendar and contacts applications in the latest versions of Android. A solution is also in the works for Google's Picasa photo sharing service, he said.

He also added that "The solution patch for this problem will be available very soon."

The researchers at North Carolina State University also aerted Google about a practice called "smishing" that can ensnare consumers in fraud. This practice has also allowed scam aritsts to send phony texts to any android user.

Google officials have identified and have confirmed this flaw & has promised for a solution.

To fullfil their promise, within days they incorporated a fix into the latest version of the Android operating system, Jelly Bean 4.2, and made available a security update for earlier versions.

But for a lot of phones, the fix never arrived & may be it will never arrive. That is because it is not clear which company, Google, the smartphone makers or the wireless carrier that sells it, bears the ultimate responsibility for the costly process of getting security updates to an Android device.

According to many papers, the fix for every version of andorid can take many days or even months to reach each & every Android using phone, only if the fix arrives.

Android's this problem or we can say this flaw, has made the world's biggest & most popular mobile operating system more vulnerable, than it's rivals, to the hackers, scam artists & a growing world of malicious softwares.

The reports pointed out that if there will be a major outbreak of malicious softwares, the fractured nature of the system for delivering updates will dramatically slow efforts to protect information carried on Android phones, including documents, passwords, contact lists, pictures, videos, location data and credit card numbers.

In my opinion, Google will come with a solution for this problem as soon as possible & the Android users will be brought to peace in no time.
