Apple tries to Penetrate Indian Market with iPhone 4 (8 GB model) at a Lower Price..........

Confronting a sales percent of about 2 % last year in India, Apple Inc. is trying every bit they can, to increase their market in India. As a result the rumours say that Apple is planning to infiltrate the smartphone market in India by providing a 8 GB version of their legacy model iPhone 4.

Last to last year, Apple had a sales percentage of about 0.8 percent, which has increased to just a shade under 2%.
This increase is still very small in comparison to rivals like Nokia, Samsung and also Micromax. These things have made Apple to make a decision that they would have never made i.e. selling iPhone 4 at a rate of about Rs. 23000.

The rumours were that Iphone 4 will be available at a price tag of Rs. 15000. But that was simply impossible. The phone will come as a 8 GB model. The company is trying to use this plan to increase their sales percentage in India market. There will be additional offers with the phone like Buy-back offer and the buyer can also buy Iphone 4 at EMI.

The EMI scheme was also used with Ipad Mini (16 GB) which was downpayment of Rs 4,999 and 18 EMIs of Rs 1,055 each. The same offer is with this model of Iphone 4 with a downpayment of Rs. 5,999.

However, Apple is firmly of the opinion that this will pay off, because the buyback schemes offered in the past have worked well for them and the same is hoped from the sales offers around the iPhone 4. While the company hasn't agreed to any of the rumours, but this doesn't mean that Apple will not go ahead with this scheme............
