Samsung is all set to Release it's First Tizen-Based Smartphone " Samsung Z "......

Samsung, as we all know, has established itself as the quality smartphone maker company in the past few years and almost all of those phones are based on Google's open source Android platform. It has become the leading smartphone producer of the world, in terms of sales too.

But now Samsung has decided to take a leap of faith and has taken a break from Android.
Instead of Android, Samsung is willing to give us a Tizen - based smartphone. Tizen is Samsung's own platform for smartphones to function. Tizen also has it's app store as like Android and Apple phones.

With the increasing use of Google's Android and Apple's iPhones it was becoming very difficult for any other platform to challenge them. So for that to happen Samsung has launched it's very own Tizen. As an opening incentive there will be many offers on the Tizen store for the users.

The Samsung Z will initially be launched in Russia. Tizen is already used in a few products, including a smartwatch, but has not been deployed in a mass-produced smartphone.

Samsung Z will feature a 4.8 inch HD display and 2.3 GHz Quad-core processor. It also has a 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, which is indeed expandable up to 64GB and a 2600 mAh battery. The phone will also have a fingerprint sensor for security with "slim, angular" design.

The Samsung Z will be on show at the Tizen Developer Conference, San Francisco from Tuesday. It will be officially launched for sale in the third quarter of this year.
