To see through the festival season with best reviews from it's customers, Sony India has launched two new additions to it's Xperia range as, Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact, which are priced at Rs. 51,990 and Rs. 44,990 respectively.
These latest Flagship Smartphones from Sony, which received good reviews at the IFA in Sept, 2014, will be available from 25th Sept, 2014 onwards at over 10,000 retail outlets across India.
"We are very encouraged with the response to Sony Xperia smartphones in India, and are targeting 40 percent contribution from Xperia sales to our sales turnover of FY14," said Kenichiro Hibi, managing director, Sony India. He also added,
“The launch of the Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact reinforces Sony’s commitment to offer the latest cutting-edge technology to our customers. With the two size options, customers now have the option of choosing the form factor that fits their individual requirement, without compromising on either technology or design."
Sony has engineered in gaming technology with the addition of PS4 Remote Play on the Xperia Z3 series. The only smartphones with PS4 Remote Play, you can now use your Xperia Z3 or Xperia Z3 Compact as a remote screen to connect to and control your games on PS4.
Both the phones features the 2.5Ghz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 graphics, 3GB RAM for Xperia Z3 and 2GB RAM on Xperia Z3 Compact and 16GB storage (expandable). The rear camera is of 20.7 MP with $K video recording support and the front camera is of 2.2MP for both phones.The phones run the latest Android 4.4 KITKAT and comes with accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, MHL port Stereo FM and active noise cancellation with dedicated microphone.
In terms of connectivity, the Xperia Z3 Compact supports 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. Xperia Z3 has a 3100mAH battery whereas Z3 Compact has a 2600mAH battery.
Xperia Z3 is available in Black, White and Copper colors. Xperia Z3 Compact is available in Black, White, Green and Orange colors. Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact will be available across all Sony Center, Sony Smartphone Lounge and leading mobile& electronics stores across India.
