XPERIA ZR : NEW WATER PROOF MODEL OF XPERIA COOKED BY SONY CORP.'s TECH KITCHEN

When a company launches a new mobile phone , they try to improve it and comes with an advancement of that model. But only some companies can come at the top with that & SONY Corp. is one of them.

Recently Sony Corp; launched a water proof phone SONY XPERIA Z, which can record HD videos of resolution 1920x1080 under submerged condition in water. And now, as following the tradition, they have come up with a new and improved model XPERIA ZR. Sony's this latest smartphone comes with a 13MP camera that is capable of capturing photos under water.
This also comes with IP55 and IP58 certifications, making it waterproof (can withstand 1.5 metre depth up to 30 minutes) as well as dustproof.

The new Sony pocket-fondler has 8GB of on-board storage, expandable using Micro SD cards. This will be a necessity, we suspect, since the OS, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, will consume 3GB or more at least. The phone supports 4G LTE and 3G HSPA+, and has single-band Wi-Fi for local networking. Bluetooth 4.0 is present for smartwatch connectivity, and you can route video out to a TV through the ZR’s HDMI-compatible micro USB port.

This smartphone offers technology and content with a 4.6" HD Reality display, which in turn is less then XPERIA Z's 5" HD display reducing the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720.

XperiaZR's display features Mobile Bravia Engine 2 technology as well as OptiContrast panel. This eliminates the need of an extra touchscreen layer by integrating the touch sensors on the panel, making the phone slimmer. The screen also features a shatterproof sheet to make it resistant to breaking in case of a fall. Features for sound enhancement in the phone are 3D Surround Sound, ClearAudio+ mode and xLoud Experience.

A 1.5GHz Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon S4 pro CPU of the kind found in the Xperia Z keeps the ZR and its wealth of Sony trademarked technologies - Bravia, Exmor, Walkman and many, many more - ticking along.

Sony said the Xperia ZR will launch in various territories around the world before the end of June. There’s no official word on pricing as yet.
