We all have been using from many years and have been looking for easier and faster ways to make them perfect. The same is the thinking of the scientists of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland who came up with a ground breaking solution to make transferring files between various gadgets easier.
This is a new technology
whereby a ring, nail structure or a wristband acts as a user interface allowing the user to transfer media files directly from one smartphone to other, without any extra connections.
This technology is very easy to operate. For example you have to send a video or a photo to your friends phone. Now the only thing you have to do is with the nail structure tap the file on your phone and then tap on the screen of your friend's phone with that nail. And ta-da the file is now on your friend's phone too.
Till this time, file sharing was only done with technologies like Infrared, Bluetooth, Memory Sticks (Pen Drives) and more recent ones like Cloud sharing- which were tied to traditional devices and standardized usage methods. But with this technology, we can share our files directly or with Cloud sharing.
There is not much revealed about the deeper technicalities of this technology, but this method of easy sharing will be out sooner rather than later. That is what I expect.
