Review: WWE Monday Night Raw (09/23/13)

As you know WWE Paperview Battleground is just a few weeks away, the scenario is burning like hell.

Last week’s 10 heroes who saved Daniel Bryan from the wrath of the shield are this week standing at the stage, as Justin Roberts introduces us to “the owner and COO of the WWE”, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. As they both are in the ring Rob Van Dam
gets on the mic and explains that last week they were just trying to help Bryan. But instead of that Triple H forces them to turn against Daniel Bryan in his own way, asking Ziggler and R-Truth when the last time they had a WWE Championship match was. He said that he’s going each of them opportunity to take out their frustrations, when they tag up with Daniel Bryan to face The Shield in a 11-on-3 handicap elimination match in the main event.
The match went on smoothly and The Shield lost, which was the most expected outcome.

Also, CM Punk returned as he tries to understand why Ryback puts his nose in his match at Night of Champions. Paul Heyman, with Curtis Axel, rushes out too to brag about his win over CM Punk. As Heyman was leaving the ring after a long verbal fight with Punk, Punk tried to rush him but was attacked by Curtis Axel and Ryback from Behind.

The other matches on the show featured :

KOFI KINGSTON VS. ALBERTO DEL RIO

The match was a big back and forth event as both the wrestlers tried their level best to win it. But as comes out, Del Rio got the last laugh as he forced Kofi to tap out to his Cross Arm Breaker.

PRIME TIME PLAYERS VS. THE WYATT FAMILY

The Wyatt family has been on a roll lately as they continue winning matches. This time their victims were the Prime Time Players, as after losing a hard fought match Darren Young was attacked by Bray Wyatt. Bray hits Sister Abigail on Young and leaves the ring with his brothers.

RANDY ORTON VS. ROB VAN DAM

One of the most thrilling matches of Raw this week was between RVD and WWE Champion Randy Orton, but the thrill pops off when the results in a Double Count-Out. After the bell has rung, Orton continues his attack, throwing Van Dam over the announce table. He rolls RVD’s body back into the ring, backs up into a corner, and hits the Hangman’s DDT off the top rope.

FANDANGO VS. SANTINO

Both guys are ridiculously over. Santino tries to “dance”, so Fandango punches him in the face. Not a ton to cover here. Santino tries to rebound, gets a great chant going, but takes a top rope leg drop for the loss.

THE BELLA TWINS, NATALYA, & THE FUNKADACTYLS VS. AJ LEE, AKSANA, LAYLA, TAMINA & ALICIA FOX

Half the people in it don’t even get involved, as one of the Bellas gets a pin over AJ Lee in a couple of minutes. The crowd is not happy at all, even though the babyfaces technically won. AJ is over in Chicago.

Let’s See what spans out Next Week……………….
